The
web download packages utilise the Microsoft Windows Installer engine
and database. The engine is
not included within the packages, this reduces the package size and
download time. The first time that you
install a ControlMate
package, you may be prompted with a message informing you that the
installer is missing or out of date. If this happens then you can
download an engine installer from one of the following links.

If, during installation, a 'PlateMate2x2.new' file is found (which is due to a new release of ControlMate being installed but not yet configured) it is renamed to 'PlateMate2x2.ini'. Before this happens, an existing 'PlateMate2x2.ini' file is renamed to 'PlateMate2x2.bak'. Any previous 'PlateMate2x2.bak' file is deleted. |

Global
Values version 1.0.4 22-Mar-2006
The
Global Values module is a powerful Add-In which is used to extend
the device control capabilities of ControlMate by allowing the
creation of additional command holders which can capture and
manipulate command field values, perform mathematical operations,
compare values and allow branching and even export values in any user
definable format.
|
Date |
Description |
|
08-Feb-2005 |
Version
1.0.4
1.
Modified the way that the GlobalValueAssign command updates the
runtime command list and internal static commands list for Global
Values current value register. Previously this was causing a problem
with iteration assignments when using calculated values rather than
current values. |
|
03-Feb-2005 |
Version
1.0.3
1.
Modified the GlobalValueAssign command to resolve an issue where
calculated global values are not initialised when loading a sequence
file. The command was not setting a pointer to the Global Value table
when each command was loaded from file. If the user had manually
added or amended the command then this issue never arose. |
|
10-Dec-2004 |
Version
1.0.2
1.
Change to the InstallShield build routine to include the latest
ControlMate and device module specific command objects, eg
PlateMatePlus Move Command. |
|
06-Jul-2004 |
Version
1.0.1
1.
The Global Value Assign command has been changed to ensure that when
a global value is changed that the value type is stored in the format
as originally declared. EG, that any value represented by a Numeric
is stored as a number, that any text values are stored as text
characters and any boolean values are stored as true or false.
Previously all values were being treated as text values. In some
instances, this could cause a value to be incorrectly compared during
logic comparisons or when performing math functions on global values,
eg when comparing a value to be less than another or when adding two
values together. |
